High School Trapshooting

The Nashua Fish & Game Club began participating in the Iowa High School & Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) in 2005.  The first High School Trapshooting team from the Nashua Fish & Game Club consisted of 5 male members, and today consists of over 15 boys and 12 girls!  We are very proud of our High School Shooters!  We sponsor both the Charles City Shooting Comets and Nashua-Plainfield Trapshooting Huskies teams, both of which are made up of multiple squads.  Tim Laube is the Head Coach of both teams.

The costs to be a member of the 2017 High School Trapshooting Team are as follows:
  • $360.00 Season Fee - includes all practice and meet shells, birds, registration fees, as well as SCTP , ATA, and ISTA Membership fees.
  • $40.00 Nashua Fish and Game Club Membership
  • $50.00 One-Time Fee for First-Year Shooters
  • $400.00 TOTAL ($450 if First-Year Shooter)
  • Additional Costs: extra shells & birds for practice if you choose to shoot more than is required
